Where is information on the music, songs, bands, singers or other musical artists on a particular episode?
Our Episode Guide page links to individual pages on the episodes and each episode page will either have information on the music, songs, bands, etc. in that episode and/or will link to that information including information on songs beginning the episode and ending songs. Whether you are looking for the last song or the first song or a middle song in an episode, look on the episode page. There is no word on a soundtrack that might be available down the line.
How soon after an episode airs will you have up information on it?
We will have up some details immediately: writer, director, the music and some references will go up as fast as we can. Quotes from the episode may take a little longer. And then sometimes real life interferes with actually getting up information and it could take a week or more. We apologize for the delays that will take place.
Will the episode pages have quotes from the episode?
We love quotations (especially from Sorkin’s writing) and often do short snippets of scenes with quotes (as we did in our West Wing Continuity Guide) and we plan to do that with these episodes. But we may not be able to get these up immediately. We do have most of the quotes of the Gilbert and Sullivan thing from the second episode up. We apologize for the delays that will sometimes occur and are espiecally sorry that we are starting these episode pages with little in the way of quotes yet.

Saturday Night Live

Is “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip” supposed to be “Saturday Night Live”?
Although the show within the show (of the same titile) is like “Saturday Night Live” in how long it has been around, etc., “Saturday Night Live” exists in the same world as NBS’s Friday night live show “Studio 60″. And “Saturday Night Live” is done in New York and this competing show is done in Hollywood. And NBC also exists in the same world. So, although the idea is the same, that is all. There is a history of the real program called Saturday Night: A Backstage History of Saturday Night Live by Doug Hill and Jeff Weingrad as there could be some other events, ideas, etc. that are used eventually. But to start off the only things that will be used are likely to be: both programs use sketches and the programs are both done late night and live on a TV network.
What is “commedia dell€arte”?
A Wikipedia article describes it as: “a form of improvisational theater which began in the 16th century and was popular until the 18th century, although it is still performed today.”   —   Here are some references:
