Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip Guide, DVD

This is a work in progress:

Pilot Episode:

• The Executive Producer of “Studio 60″ has an onscreen breakdown after being ordered not to broadcast a sketch he believed in
• Jordan takes charge of NBS entertainment division
• Jordan has discovered that Danny cannot be bonded to do the new movie he and Matt were planning and she offers them “Studio 60″ and promises to allow them to do it the way they want.
• Harriet and Matt (who recently broke up) decide they can work together.

102 “The Cold Open”:

• Danny admits to a press conference that they are taking over the show because he failed a drug test and can’t be insured to do the movie they had planned.
• Matt knows he has to come up with a great show which captures attention immediately with a “cold open”.
• Harriet discovers that Matt has been sleeping with Jeanne.

103 “The Focus Group”:

• Danny has a focus group asked about the patriotism of the show. He does this to make Matt less cautious. Matt later figures out this was Danny’s doing.
• News reports come out that Jordan was once arrested for DWI.
• Jack finds out someone named Ryan Mulrooney is shopping a book about Jordan. Jordan says they were married for nine months back when she was 25.

104 “The West Coast Delay”:

• They are working on their third show.
• Harriet has had diner with a baseball pitcher and Matt is going a little crazy especially when he finds the baseball player kissing Harriet in her dressing room.
• Jordan’s ex-husband is self-publishing a book on her on the Internet and also appearing on Geraldo.
• Tom Jeter is still obessing about a woman named Paula
• They break into the West Coast showing three times to fix a problem they have in using material that others have previously used.
• Ricky and Ron, who have previously refused to quit, offer to quit rather than reveal who gave them material from someone else.
• Martha O’Dell, a columnist, is given full access to write a long lead story for Vanity Fair.

105 “The Long Lead Story”:

• Martha O’Dell is working on her story.
• She learns some details about the relationship between Matt and Harriet
• Sting guests on the show.

106 “The Wrap Party”:

• Harriet’s new boyfriend, the baseball player, hits on Jordan.

107 “Nevada Day Part I”:

• Tom pushes a guy who has approached Harriet rather loudly about her comments about homosexuality.
• Tom borrows a jacket from Simon, which turns out to have a joint in it.
• Tom is arrested after the guy he pushed files charges and it turns out Tom has an outstanding warrant from Nevada and he is sent there.
• Danny joins Jack and one of the men with whom the company is trying to form a partnership for investment in China (and his daughter), go to Nevada to try to extridite Tom in time for the show that evening.

108 “Nevada Day Part II”:

• The only reason Tom is released by the judge in Nevada is that he was speeding back to L.A. after seeing his brother off to a tour in Afghanistan.
• On the trip back, Jack tells Danny to warn Jordan that her job is in jeopardy.
• Jack defends Jordan’s honor, risking his own job as he risks the deal with China.

109 “The Option Period”:

• Matt discovers that Ricky and Ron are shopping a pilot. He can stop them from doing so but allows it to continue and they quit.

110 “B-12″:

• Jordan ends up having to tell Danny that she is pregnant.

111 “The Christmas Show”:

• Jack starts a fight with the FCC over a live news broadcast.
• White joins Jack in the fight against the FCC.
• Danny tells Jordan that he is “coming for her.”

112 “Monday”:

• Danny keeps up the campaign to win Jordan.

113 “The Harriet Dinner”:

• Danny decides to stop trying to win over Jordan but he needs a little privacy to do so and takes her to the roof where the door locks behind them.
• Matt wins a date with Harriet only because he was trying to stop Luke from having one.

114 “The Harriet Dinner Part II”:

• Matt has been so obsessed with Harriet that she breaks up with him
• Danny and Jordan, still locked on the roof, have time to really tell each other what they feel.

115 “The Friday Night Slaughter”:

• Matt has writer’s block and remembers when he first met Harriet.
• Matt takes some drugs to “help” him.

116 “4 a.m. Miracle”:

• Harriet loses her admiration for Luke when she notices that he is just keeping her from going back to the set.
• She seems to reconcile a little with Matt.
