Want to help make this site better?
There are two main ways you can help: 1) Buy things from Amazon, Cafe Press or join Netflix, etc. (using links at the bottom of every page or wherever we mention a specific item), or 2) help us edit this site by sending us information or finding typos or mistakes or giving us advice. We want to acknowledge those who help us edit the site with gold stars for each piece of information they give us that is not acknowledged elsewhere in the site:

As of September 14, 2006, David Daniel has become an official site consultant.
About the advertising on this site:
We apologize for the advertisements. We do not expect a site to pay for our time, etc. but we do try to make a little to cover the costs of hosting, domain names, our favorite statistics program (without which we couldn’t figure out what viewers wanted), and all the other expenses related to a website that tends to get as large as our websites tend to do. And the only advertisements we put up are those that are either related to the series or those products we, ourselves, use and love (Apple products, Star Trek merchandise, etc.)
We thought we would also keep track of the site:
It went live May 9, 2006. By July 15, 2006 the largest search engine gave it a Rank of 3 and it came up around 20 or so for a search of “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip”. Then during the Labor Day weekend, we noticed that it was at #9 for that search and the main page had a rank of 4. It is way down in the list of most popular sites (our “West Wing” site was at about 60,000th even two months after the finale (but after that its popularity understandably dropped) and our “House MD” site is at less than 200,000 even during the summer), but we expect this new “Stuido 60 on the Sunset Strip” site to move up and become as useful a resources as many people have found our other sties.
July 15: it starts at 1,269,941. All sites start off with a “0″ rank in the largest search engine and new sites are usuallly not favored for more than six months. We are not displeased with how this site is doing so far.
August 15: it has moved up (or down towards the highest rated site’s #1 position) about 140,000 places and the home page with “www” now has a rank of “4″ (although without the “www”, it is only 3).

The image to the right shows November 30, 2006.
Over the summer before the show was broadcast, this site has risen over more than 4.5 million other sites (see below). Which makes being ranked around 1 million a little easier to bear.
In September before the show started, the site fell a bit. But that should end after the show broadcasts although the ranking changes very slowly.
Previous Rank from October 20, 2006
Previous Rank from August 25, 2006
